- No discourteous behavior, arguing with officials or employees of ISP, or flagrant violations of any rules of a game or other activity shall be permitted by any participant in an activity at ISP. Subject to any rules specific to each sport, any participant arguing with an official may, at the sole discretion of ISP or any official, be precluded from finishing the game (i.e. ejected). Any ejection as warranted under any rule or regulation set forth herein shall be followed by an immediate one game suspension to occur on the next date that the participant is scheduled to participate in a game at ISP. No refunds shall be provided to any person ejected or suspended.
- No discourteous behavior or arguing with officials or employees of ISP shall be permitted by any fan, visitor, patron or other person entering ISP. At the sole and reasonable discretion of ISP or any official, a person shall be precluded or denied further access to or from ISP due to such improper conduct. Removal from ISP shall be followed by denial of access to ISP for (10) days.
- Coaches/parents are responsible for the behavior and conduct of all minors accompanying them to ISP, whether (in the case of coaches) such responsibility relates to participants who are on their team and/or their own children (as the case may be), including respecting compliance with all rules and regulations of ISP.
- No running, or throwing or kicking of any balls, frisbees, or any other objects, etc.. whatsoever, is permitted in any of the interior areas of ISP other than on the turf field or the tennis courts.
- No fighting of any type shall be permitted on the premises (inside or outside) of ISP, including, but not limited to, between participants, coaches, friends, family members, visitors, etc… or with representatives or employees of ISP. Any person fighting on the premises (inside or outside) of ISP shall be subject to the penalties set forth in section “K” of these rules.
- No altercations of any type (physical or verbal) shall be permitted on the premises (inside or outside) of ISP, including, but not limited to, between participants, coaches, friends, family members, visitors, etc… or with representatives or employees of ISP.
- Any improper conduct shall subject the violator to the full consequences of the law and/or reasonable disciplinary action (ejection, suspension or denial of future access to ISP, all of which shall occur without any refund to the violator(s)) as deemed necessary and appropriate by ISP.
- A participant or other visitor shall initially be cautioned if (s)he:
1.) orally or otherwise demonstrates disagreement with a referee’s decision;
2.) taunts other participants in any manner;
3.) engages in unsupportive conduct of any type;
4.) uses foul or abusive language;
5.) violates the rules particular to the activity being played. - A participant shall be ejected if (s) he:
1.) continues to engage in any inappropriate conduct after receiving an initial caution;
2.) engages in such highly offensive conduct as determined by ISP and/or the officials that a caution or warning is deemed to be insufficient to address the offender’s actions;
3.) otherwise engages in conduct for which an ejection is deemed, under any other rule or regulation of ISP, to be the appropriate sanction. - Any conduct giving rise to an ejection shall result in the filing of a report with ISP’s management by the ejected participant and/or coach/individual and the official prior to each person leaving the facility.
- Referees have been instructed to stop a game for unruly behavior by players, coaches or fans. As adopted from the Platypus Invitational Tournament – – “act like a moron and you are gone.”
TIE BREAKERS: THE FIRST CRITERIA IS HEAD TO HEAD. IF HEAD TO HEAD GAMES DO NOT RESOLVE THE TIE BREAKER, THE SECOND CRITERIA IS FORFEITS. ANY TEAM THAT HAS FORFEITED LOSES THE TIE BREAKER. THE THIRD CRITERIA IS TOTAL GOALS ALLOWED THROUGHOUT THE ROUND ROBIN PORTION OF THE LEAGUE. THE FOURTH CRITERIA IS A COIN FLIP.
